This picture gives you a good indication of what Pine Meadow is all about. The land is generally flat. You've got mature trees on the edges of the course. Bunkers are plentiful and punishing. The entire course is very nice, but certainly nothing flashy. Pine Meadown is just a solid, old time golf course.
The 5th is the first par 3 a player will encounter during his round. A large oak tree sits behind the green while two bunkers in the front of the green, left and right, will catch the poorly struck shot. the green is open in front and will allow you to bounce a ball into the green. At 245 yards, that seems like a prudent play.
