The 16th is one of the best holes on the property. The tee box is elevated, giving the player a commanding view of the hole. The hole turns hard to the left and the green is hidden from view by trees. The tee ball should be played left center to trim yardage off the hole and give the player a good look at the stick on the second shot.

As with most greens at Cog Hill, the putting surface is elevated, a somewhat redundant design feature. The entire left side of the hole slopes quickly down into the trees and a ravine. The green is perched just along the ravine, amongst the trees. A back left pin location is tougher than getting JC to only play 36 at Ballyneal, or, convincing Jefe that all rangers are not devil spawn.
